The Pain of Trust

Etonam, grew up without her parents in one of the communities in the Volta Region. She was sent to live with a friend of her mother’s in one of the suburbs of Greater Accra. When the husband of her guardian failed in his attempt to take advantage of Etonam, he connived with a student in Etonam’s school to frame one of the teachers who was her inspiration. Back to the village, she put the incident behind her and focused on her studies, in addition to caring for her ailing grandmother. Will her determination and hard work pay off?
